Ok Delorean Guy’s & Gal’s it’s that time of year when I need to start to collect the Carfest payments.

The “Good News” is that there is NO INCREASE in price this year!! Big Grin

The line up of acts this year is fantastic!

So the costs are exactly the same as in 2015. Big Grin

All weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) for a Delorean & 2 persons with exhibitors passes is £156.00

Camping is £25 per night.

You can arrive anytime from noon on Thursday & leave by noon Monday.
Can everyone who has asked for a space and those who may be thinking about it, please get in touch with me and ideally arrange payment as I have to pay up front for everyone! Wink

After the last batch of public tickets sold out in minutes this week, I can announce that there are still a couple of places left for Carfest North & South.

The line up this year of musicians is absolutely phenomenal and there’s more car stuff than ever! Smile

With Chris Evans now fronting the new Top Gear there will certainly be Top Gear presence at the show too. Wink

If you’d like to attend with your De please let me know asap.

I cant emphasise how much bigger and better it will be this year.

Just a sort update to say that there is still a place available for one Delorean on our Stand at Carfest North & South.
The Bands lined up this year are absolutely amazing

, it’s certainly the best line up so far in the History of Carfest and a complete bonus to what is always a fantastic car show.

What an A-W-E-S-O-M-E weekend at Carfest North!

Just got home from what has to be the best Carfest yet.

I’d like to say a BIG thank you to those who attended, without you, they’d have been no Delorean stand.

There was so much to see and do that the 3 days just seem like a blur. (Or was it something to do with alcohol)

Anyways, heres a few pictures I took.

The stand early Friday morning (before we all got mobbed by enthusiastic visitors).

We were displayed with several other car clubs in the “Vintage Village” area. This was right in front of Bolesworth Castle and they even built a pontoon bridge to link our prime location with the showground across an “ornamental lake”.
During the day there were jet ski stunt shows (unbelievable back flips and mid air gymnastics) Dragon boat races and radio control powerboats on the lake.
As darkness fell the castle behind us burst into illuminated colour.

The whole site came alive in a sea of light and sound.

The music this year was just A-M-A-Z-E-I-N-G. after all the car stuff (and there was something going on all the time, from the latest F1 Red Bull car burn outs to Sporting Bears and parades, cars, cars, cars) we finished each evening with the music

The site glowed in the darkness, and the castle changed colour in an amazing light and laser show in time with the music.

Sunday A-list bands were out of this world and the place was truly buzzing.

The show finished with its faithful fireworks display as always.

So; Carfest North 2016 is certainly one to remember. They’ve raised the bar very high this year and Carfest South always tries to out do it, so I’m certainly looking forward to South this year.

Thanks again to everyone who attended and please post up your photos of this amazing event. Especially if anyone got shots of the live Camel Racing.

Quick shout out to anyone who’d like to come along with their Delorean to Carfest South (even if for just one of the 3 days)…I still have space to fill.

It was beyond "Great" it was bloomin amazing.

30,000 people attended, it's been the same dates for the last 6 years, so maybe you need to plan your summer holidays so as not to clash and come down to Carfest South and join in the fun Chris Wink

I wish it were that easy mate, due to restrictions I'm allowed to take off during summer and having to work around spending time with kids either for a holiday or looking after them it's really difficult Sad

It will work out one day though.
