The Garvagh Clydesdale Show and Vintage Car Rally takes place the is Saturday 07th September. I know of one DeLorean going to this show, it would be great to see more at it. From what I hear here the standard of cars is very impressive.

Yesterday I attended the Garvagh Clydesdale Show and Vintage Rally.

The weather left a lot to be desired all I encountered was the wind and rain, this put a lot of people off from bringing their cars out. I was to meet another member of the Delorean Ireland Forum with his Delorean, but the weather put an end to his plans, however I did hit lucky and stumbled another DeLorean.

This example is a December 81, Automatic with Grey Leather, the gentleman imported it from America 3 years ago, BXI is a stunning example of a well kept DeLorean, and from what I was told no expense has been spared in maintaining this car. The gentleman's son is currently looking at importing another DeLorean in the near future if all goes to plan....Northern Ireland is fast becoming a Mecca for DeLoreans once again Wink
A few more shots from yesterday.

Very nice looking Meastro and firenza/drop snoot
Chris
If my eyes were not playing tricks on me I think Maestro had about 110k on the clock, I couldnt believe it as it was in great shape....after the DeLorean it was probably my favourite car.....makes me feel old when the cars of my youth are now vintage Shock

The Droopsnoot Firenza was fantastic looking as was the Orange Opel Kadette....they arrived as I was leaving I didnt get a proper look at them. Old School Rear Wheel Drive Vauxhalls/Opel's are big business over here along with the MK1 & 2 Ford Escorts.....there's that many of them that on a quiet night it is said you can hear them rust
There is a MG Meastro (as well as a few other classics) at the site where we store our caravan, sadly very poor condition now even though it had been covered at some point. Allways had a soft spot for the Firenza as mmy Dad had one, just a normal one mind, in a gold sort of colour.
Chris
I know what you mean about having a soft spot for cars our parents had. My dad always bought Volvo, we had 340's 440's 460's and S40's so I always had a soft spot for them.
