Does anyone know where I can source the promo shot of John Delorean posing with the car?

It has flats at the Seymour Hill Estate in the background, which overlooked the factory.

The one in the attached picture hangs on the walls of DMC Houston I think......I had to screen shot a Youtube Video to get the picture.
I can't find this particular picture in my archive, but I may have a similar one. I have several with the flats in the background.

I start sorting them our properly after the coming weekend away, so will let you know what I find.

Chris
Hi Chris, I will e-mail DMC Houston and see if they can shed any light on the picture!
I asked about the Delorean picture on DMCtalk and I was directed to the link below:

It was taken by a photographer from Pacemaker International who are part of Northern Ireland's press agency.

It is actually a prototype car with a sliding window.
Fascinating archive that website...

Check out this one:

It claims to be the first off the production line - it has electric windows - but what about the black hood emblem? Haven't seen one of those... can't see the gas flap status cos of where JZD is sitting - Date reckons to be 28/1/81

This also reckons to be the first off the line! Not quite finished, or as we say at work,
'carries an "NQF" part-number'.
Love the fact that in that pic above the rock screen is missing. You can see right through the spolier to the floor underneath!
Gas flap, headlamp surrounds too!
Here you go - hi res copy of it.

It's the Visioneering car, presumably from when it was being driven around the track in front of news crews/dignitaries during the Pennebaker doc. Whether this is the same time as VIN500 coming off the line, I'm not sure - but there was definitely some kind of press event where the V-car was the star, and the Guigario wood model was shipped over too.
Fantastic Matt, thanks for sharing...probably my favourite DeLorean image Smile
I've always liked this one, obviously taken at the same time. It appears on some editions of the Fallon/Srodes book (first edition I think). Belongs to Camera Press who never seem to authorise my account so I can buy a copy. Tried again today.
Another great picture, never seem that one before Smile must go hunting for a few more vintage DMC photos.
