That's John Dennys car. At £28k he has undervalued it in my opinion.

Agreed, I think it will sell quite quickly at that price,

I can't see it hanging around for long at that price.

Funnily enough he hasn't posted it for sale online. He put an advert into classic car weekly, hence only one picture - I can only assume that website is linked to CCW?

From memory I know it's had, new Pirelli tyres, dash, binnacle and seat's retrimmed, along with a regrain by Chris Nicholson, chassis has been given a coated in waxoyl to protect it, front and rear fascias resprayed (albeit in a lighter shade than oem).

I am seeing John later today, so will ask him to pull the car out and I'll get some pictures of it for anyone who is interested.
It says RHD in the advert…I presume that is just a typo? ( Not that i'm looking for another car! )

A typo by whoever entered it into the website. The other car that's for sale there which is in Germany is also listed as RHD, even though you can see from the picture it's LHD.

Indeed a good buy and very keenly priced.

Interesting that it has a HR Owen mark on its numberplate.

Yes, Chris, it does look like paint on the doors
guys any ideas what the value of a RHD is..... ?

might tackle a conversion some day.
I had John pull the car out of the garage so I could grab a good few pictures of it, all of which I have uploaded to dropbox on the following link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2wj9y4dol5im ... 94Kva?dl=0

Some additional details, the Vin is 6424, a November 1981 build, with grey interior and manual transmission. Asking price is £28,000.

For any interest, please contact John direct:

A couple of extra bits of info that I forgot to include, current mileage: 52k miles, and the car is MOT'd until July 2015, however John has indicated he would be happy to provide the car with a fresh MOT for the new owner.
Well done Mike, now that is how a car for sale, should be photographed!! Big Grin

Smile No worries Karl, as an owner, I know the more pictures provided when selling a car the better, and if he helps John sell his car then it's all good.
Looks a great car….I can't imagine it will hang around unsold for long.
