Not ebay per se, but obviously a bargain

I wouldn't recommend this one, btw.

What is he offering for sale? Just the engine from the looks of the high quality pictures available. Smile

Chris
Shock What's the catch?

I know it's a conversion so not an 'official' RHD car, but the price still seems low for a right hander.

possibly putting some people off I would guess, though I am sure it is a very nice car.
Chris
Ah, that explains a lot.

Knowing Chris though, the repairs will be of a very high standard. If someone can overlook it's poor start in life it could be a good car, at a good price.

No, it's the whole car. Earlier versions of this awesome listing had no pics whatsoever, so that's an upgrade.

Whether all the parts are actually assembled is open to interpretation. A 'Talk member (02387) has been to see it and wasn't impressed.

Well that was a quick turnaround!
Was thinking the same DM. Is this not the one that was up for 18k. Before I imported mine earlier this year I enquired about this car.

Is the seller just a speculator / flipper or have they done substantial restoration / improvements?
Purely my speculation: the car hadn't been run much by the PO. Looks like the current seller has gone through the car and given it a thorough cosmetic once-over/pressure wash/waxoyl and replaced a bunch of the fuel system for the usual reasons in the past 2 months. I don't seem any substantial improvements/resto work here.

This may well have just been a flip, or the current owner (the son of the ebay lister) then decided that he didn't like it (or couldn't get insured for a reasonably sum) and so it's for sale again.
Just spotted this on Face-page.
