That's more or less the USD price (from Bruce Coloumbe + import cost) but now in GBP. Can't really blame him for taking the profit if he can actually get that price.
Quote:Yes 321187554627 looks like a very nice car indeed. Has some small fuel issue to resolve though - which is the reason for the sale?
Yes I don't think it's a bad buy, it's a club members car and Paul has spent a fortune on it. Cant be that much wrong with it I would have thought, just needs a bit of time and money.

Chris
Although been on before now listed at a very keen price: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DELOREAN-DMC- ... 817wt_1328
It looks like a nice car for the money. I am sure that this wont be around for ever at that price
I agree, it looks a good car at that price......start wafting £20 notes under his/ her nose and it may even get a bit cheaper!

seen the state of the coolant bottle? Shock Dont think that will last long, needs changing asap!
Hardly a deal breaker though Claire!
Funny Chris p, yes wave some notes around and see what happens! but ive priced it very competitively and its low milage, black leather and manual and ive done quite a few bits on it as listed, just has a couple of small dinks that need removing and usual little bits but interior refurbed, wheels refurbed, all brakes recently done, engine is lovely, its a daily driver so not mint but used! but the price is basically what its cost me last year to get it + shipping and work, mot, tax, stainless exhaust etc so im not going to lose money on it really or it will stay. Its my second one now and much as I love it ive also got a dodge ram hemi truck so cant really have two toys as i'll be getting another bike in march!
I agree with you, it looks good value to me....sadly I'm out of garage space or I would be very tempted myself.
off on a tangent, Funny story for you Chris, I went over to Norfolk recently to view the mad max ford falcon but at ay 80grand it was a bit overpriced, but while there I parked up at the harleston post office and was in the delorean and an old guy walked up to me and said can I have a chat, it transpires he worked for Lloyds brokers London as an underwriter and was approached by a one john delorean for funding for the dmc-12! he turned it down but another guy in the office agreed the deal, not being too much in the know I wished I had got his number as he said earlier in the 70's delorean had arranged a big swanky party in London to launch his ideas for the dmc12 very extravagant and expensive by the sounds of it and when it was time for the bill to be squared up he was on a plane back to America! very interesting guy
Great pity you didn't get his contact details.......could have been another anecdote for the book!

I'm confused.

VIN 570 has always been one of the Legend cars, referenced in the PJGrRady site:

http://www.pjgrady.co.uk//GenericConten ... IN570.html

a page even referenced by the seller in his ad.

What happened to the Legend engine? Was it ever fitted?

I believe Chris has that engine in storage, with the intention of eventually fitting it to his personal car.
