Another red one, same seller happy to deal with/ship to UK: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Delorean-1981 ... 41984dcbf4
I would be a little cautious about this red one.

An ebay.com auction has just ended for the same car, where it was in Washington DC, albeit not far from NJ.

The stpallas seller may be the same guy as jimmycarsales seller, or he may have bought it from him just to flip to UK buyers. Or he may be running parallel ads for the same car. I am always dubious when a car is described as being "at the docks" and therefore not able to be inspected......
Maybe, but that seller seems to sell a lot of the BHCC stock, so I'm guessing they can get more selling to the UK, however as always buyer beware!

Another one (possibly new to the UK) looking at the pictures: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1981-DeLorean ... 33a68c2a32 Keenly priced at 28K and in the middle of the country: Doncaster
Chris
One in the US aiming to sell to the UK @ 18k. Non runner reading between the lines: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111766489958? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Chris
Looks good to me.
Needs recommissioning - 20 years sat means, as you say, it's a non runner. Even if it did, it'd need a fair bit of work - but at that money, I'd snap it up sharpish.
Id be very concerned that it clearly doesn't run and the chassis looks like this. Could turn in to a big job.
Something has leaked. I'd not worry hugely. The rest at that price is worth the gamble.
I wonder what that strap is wrapped around?

Nothing that can't be fixed obviously.

Interesting that the car was found in Ohio, yet the seller is based in TX and he is only listing it, as far as I can see, in the UK.

Well spotted, didn't notice that one. Certinally looks like it may be around the rack. I just think it's easier for sellers with cars to sell to the UK. They know they are going to get a better price and far less chance of any comeback on problems with the car from clever wording in the advert to cover something up!
If I had 18k spare I think I would have it.

Same here Chris.
It looks like it's been on a trailer and that strap was holding it in place. Given its rest period it won't have moved under its own power in some time. Well worth being careful, but there isn't enough here to stop a purchase. I think it'd be road worthy in a few hours.
From USA.......

Love the, "Ran fine when stored" statement, yeah in 1985 allegedly!
And that frame definitely not dry stored since 1985.
What you reckon? If looking, I might gamble £10k.
