                                      Overview

We are pleased to announce our next DOC EuroTec event !!

As with the last 2 years, this will be a guaranteed sell-out, and the best rooms will be allocated in booking order. To book your room you will need to pay a deposit of £30 per person which is refundable if cancelled up to 3 days before the event.

Details of the Event

This event is taking place across the weekend of Fri 20, Sat 21, Sun 22nd June 2008 in Norfolk. As with DOC Lotus 2006 and the highly successful EuroTec 2007 event, this will be centered around club member, Arran Jamieson's private hotel.

Unlike many other large DeLorean 'related' events, there is NO charge for the ‘event’ itself. However as the DOC UK does incur some expenditure for this, we will be seeking small club ‘donations’ over the weekend to help fund this event, but only in the region of £10 !

As before this event is bound to be well attended with many of our friends from different European countries.

All of the rooms have again been 'block booked' for us to use, so initially we would be very grateful if you could at least reserve a room to ensure that you don’t miss out and take advantage of the discount 'offer' pre 2008 !!

You will obviously note from below that very generous discounts have yet again been given for this event. The weekend will be run at very minimal costs to all involved - i.e. apart from a small club donation it is just the cost of accommodation and food/drink is all that you will have to pay. For those of you who book and pay a deposit early you will benefit from further reduced rates. These rates will increase for bookings made in 2008

As before, the basis of the weekend will be around 'Workshop / Tech sessions' throughout the weekend, hence the title ‘DOC EuroTec’. Workshop ‘Marquees’ will be set up to provide shelter and areas of work.

'Specialists' will be on hand to provide us with technical and hands on assistance over the course of the event. This will involve engine tuning, wheel alignment, minor bodywork re-graining / repairs, Torsion bar adjustments. .. etc etc ! ...Many more ‘activities’ are planned, details to follow !!

Scenic drives will also be organized throughout the weekend for those not wishing to participate in the ‘workshops’ and night time 'entertainment' will be provided.
